Okay, the past few days have been pretty much amazing. Let's start with my birthday. =)
So, I get up on Thursday morning, and I have the awesomest (I know, that's not a word), gooiest chocolate chip muffin ever. Yeah. Then, I went with my parents to my doctor's appointment, where he looked at me for five minutes and announced that I CAN GO BACK TO GYMNASTICS! =DDDDDD
As if that weren't good enough, I missed Spanish because of the appointment, and when I came back my friends gave me a ton of chocolate (as in, I now have a Victoria's Secret bag completely filled with it). Then in English, we watched Pride & Prejudice, which was hilarious. Finally, at the end of the day I had a free block, which meant that I missed gym!
Then I got home, and we went out for Thai food at this amazing restaurant, and the food was of course delicious. When we came back, I opened presents, and my parents gave me back the stuffed animals they had taken away from me when I was eight or something. I was really surprised, but it was so cool! (And yes, I am a geek. Shut up.) I also got to talk to a bunch of my cousins. ^_^
On Friday, I had a history and math test, but I didn't actually think I did horribly on them, so that was cool. I also had leftover Thai food and chocolate for lunch, which made me uber-happy. And again, I didn't have any Spanish. =D
However, the best part of the day was going back to gymnastics! =DDDDDDDDDD I am so out of shape it's not even funny. We did fifty pushups and I pretty much died during the rest of the conditioning. =) Bars was pathetic, because I could barely do a kip (a basic mount), and I kept ramming my ribs right into the bar. But beam was alright, and I just have to get my round-off and one-handed cartwheel back.
I came home and basically died after that, but today I went to gymnastics again! I can't move at all, but that's okay. I saw a teammate I hadn't seen in awhile, and she handed out yummy candy canes. Twas pretty sweet. Then my dad and I went to Barnes & Noble, where I bought four books with my gift cards and only ended up spending $14.01 of my own money. I was psyched.
Then, I returned home. My dad had told me that he wanted to watch a football game at six, which in retrospect I should have realized was totally stupid because football is played on Sundays. In any case, I didn't really pay much attention, until we got home and my mom started yelling at me for leaving something in the computer room.
I went into the room, and saw
lanie__rose,
a4_anglomania,
hethien,
sawyer_stalker8,
elven_pirate_22,
shortperson5555,
lightshadow54, Jeremy, and Jeff hiding underneath the computer table. =D It was a surprise birthday party, w00t! We hung out and watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith, as well as claimed countries for when
elven_pirate_22 took over the world.
We got to eat pizza, amazing Mexican seven-layer dip, and a yummy cake. =D Then we went back upstairs and claimed some more countries, and took lots of amusing pictures. ^__^ I got even more chocolate (the Victoria's Secret bag is now overflowing), and it was AWESOME! Then we hung out some more and talked about angles at which to shoot oneself and failed miserably to calculate how long it would take
lanie__rose to save up for an iPod.
Muahahaha.
So, all in all, here's the obligatory "what I got for my birthday" list.
- Barnes & Noble gift cards
- iTunes gift cards
- money
- CHOCOLATE
- a Mrs. Damon tank top
- two Yankee candles (lavendar and lotus blossum)
- A Lexicon of Stupidity
- Rebel Angels
- The Boleyn Inheritance
- Quibbler
- Domino (the Keira Knightley movie)
- Evanescence's "The Open Door"
- a POTC calendar
- my stuffed animals
- the LOST game
- physical therapy stuff
- a charm bracelet
I think I'll make another post later about what I got with my birthday money, because that's just as much fun! =DDDD
To everyone who was at the party, I'm going to upload the pictures tomorrow in a friends-locked post, so you'll have to be logged in to see it. There will also be the list of who owns what country for reference purposes. ^_^
