Good news on the back front! (Hehe, oxymoron--couldn't resist.)
So, my doctor called today with results from the cat scan. As it turns out, I do have a second stress fracture, and it is covered with scar tissue. This means I have to wear Bob (my back brace) for three months, as opposed to six-eight weeks.
Now, this does not sound good at all, especially since in three months I'll be on a plane to Hawaii. However, my doctor said that I can go back to doing karate, as long as I wear Bob. Furthermore, my mom is planning on discussing the situation with my dad, and if all goes well I'll be able to return to gymnastics after June. I'd be wearing the brace, of course, so I wouldn't be able to do about 90% of the stuff I normally do, but I'm still pumped! =DDD
Plus, I just discovered I can still do a split in my brace. ^___^
