Would someone please explain the ending of LOST? I totally did not get it.

It looked to me like Penny has been searching for Desmond and the guys in the station (with all the snow) got some signal when the electromagnet went off - or when the hatch exploded?
Her dad is the guy who tried to get rid of Desmond, maybe he is running Dharma and arranged for Des to end up there? And she found out somehow, so she's been trying to find him? After all, she did say she has lots of money, and you can find anyone with lots of money.
Hell, I don't know. I'm really irritated that we won't find out about Eko, Locke, Jack, Kate and Sawyer til September. And I hope Michael's damn boat blows up. Sorry, Walt, your dad's a d***.

Heh, I'm kind of hoping Michael and Walt will decide to go back to the island and tell everyone their coordinates, so at least they can get off the island too.

You know, I did think Penny's father looked familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on how, though.

Gah. They said this would be a much better cliffhanger than last year's, but I'm just confused. Also, I'm pretty sure Jack, Kate, and Sawyer aren't in any danger (the Others said they wouldn't hurt them, though I guess they could technically inject poison in them and kill them). As for Desmond, Eko, and Locke... I don't think they'd really kill off all of them in one blow... Or would they?

I still hope Michael dies in some horrific manner. I hate him more than ever now. And he's not supposed to be a regular next season, just a guest star - like Walt has been this season. So maybe I'll get lucky and he'll die and we'll only see his stupid butt in flashbacks.
I don't know about Des, Eko and Locke. They did already kill off two characters just recently. I read a theory somewhere that maybe Locke closed himself and Eko behind the blast doors and that may have saved them from an explosion, but was there an explosion? There was no sound of an explosion. Could the hatch have *im*ploded on itself? That would account for no sound of an *ex*plosion. But if it imploded, they're all toast.
I saw on some other boards that people think Charlie was behaving oddly when he returned to Claire. What do you think? I don't like Charlie anyhow, so I didn't notice.
As far as the Others hurting Jack, Kate and Sawyer, they said they wouldn't hurt them, but who knows what their idea of hurting someone is? After all, Henry told Michael the Others are the 'good guys', and I don't really see that as being true.
Henry is supposed to be a regular next season, and we're supposed to see alot of the Others story, so that might help fill in alot of gaps.

Oh, gross, I hate Henry.

Anyhoo, yeah, I did notice that Charlie was behaving oddly. Like, he didn't really seem to care that Eko and Locke and Desmond were still in the hatch. Furthermore, how did he even get out of the hatch? The last thing we saw was of it was everything going haywire. And then he was kind of avoiding Claire's questions... Ugh, I hate bad!Charlie. He's become so bitter lately. Good!Charlie is so adorable, though. :)

Hee, I saw where someone suggested it wasn't *really* Charlie, it was Clone!Charlie infiltrating the Losties camp.
