Muahaha, going to see Inside Man today with [livejournal.com profile] sawyer_stalker8, [livejournal.com profile] elven_pirate_22, and her madre this evening! *is wicked psyched* We wanted to see The Libertine, which of course has Johnny Depp and is therefore automatically sexy, but they're not playing it in any theaters around us. -_-

In other news, my back = dead. I went to see my doctor last Wednesday, and she said I have "inflamation of the back." Which is all fine and jolly, except for the fact that I have States (an important gymnastics meet) coming up next week! Not to mention that I haven't gone to practice all this week, because I was trying not to strain my back.

I went to practice yesterday, though, and of course I basically died. I can't frigging do anything anymore, and it's really frustrating. I also feel guilty, because my coach is all like, "Take it easy," and I feel like I'm playing the injury card just to get out of work. I mean, I'm not, obviously, because I'd much rather be able to do the work than to have to sit out on the sidelines, but I keep thinking that's what other people think. -_-

Anyhoo, in other words. I think it's time for me to play that game again.

Name a movie, any movie, and I will connect it to The Lord of the Rings. Give it your best shot!

So, Inside Man first.

Via Clive Owen: Clive was in King Arthur with Keira Knightley, who was in Pirates of the Caribbean with Orlando Bloom, who played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings.
Via Jodie Foster: Jodie was in Flightplan with Sean Bean, who played Boromir in The Lord of the Rings.
Via Denzel Washington: Denzel was in Man On Fire with Dakota Fanning, who was in War of the Worlds with Miranda Otto, who played Eowyn in The Lord of the Rings.

:/ That was too easy. Challenge me!

Ow, honey, you really should take it easy with your back! *snuggles*

lol, I could name a german movie now :P

Teehee, you could. :)

Heh, I basically died when I went to gymnastics, but I spent a few minutes sitting in the car and now I can walk without pain. =)

WOOT! Enjoy Inside Man, and tell me how it is! I have one for you: Mary Poppins. I used to know how that workd, but I forget now.

Okay, here it is.

Playing Mary Poppins is Julie Andrews, who was in Shrek 2 with Cameron Diaz, who was in Gangs of New York with Leonardo DiCaprio, who was in The Aviator with Cate Blanchett, who played Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings.

Please do try to be careful and not permanently injure yourself! I know how badly you want to be in the meet, but if you're going to hurt yourself doing it, it may not be worth it.

And one of my all-time favorite movies, 'Heaven can wait'. It's an oldie, it *should* challenge you, I think.

I'll probably end up taking a break after States are over, so it won't be too bad. (Hopefully.)

As for Heaven Can Await, I've never heard of it, so I looked it up to see who the actors were. As it turns out, Julie Christie is in it (playing Betty Logan), and she was in Troy with Orlando Bloom, who played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings. She was also in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with Alan Rickman, who was in Love Actually with Keira Knightley, who was in Pirates of the Caribbean with Orlando, who again played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings. =D

Crap, I forgot she was in 'Troy'. Well that was too easy. At least I made you look the movie the up, lol. Alright, another of my favorites, 'Very Bad Things'. *wondering if I should look it up and check that there were no lotr actors in it in minor roles*

Hehe, no, as far as I know there are no LOTR actors in it. But Cameron Diaz is, and she was in Charlie's Angels with Drew Barrymoore, who was in Fifty First Dates with Sean Astin, who played Sam in The Lord of the Rings. =D

Hehe, I have no life.

I should have known someone would say that. Anyhoo, RENT. Playing the 'bad guy' was Taye Diggs, who was in Chicago with Renee Zellweger, who was in Cold Mountain with Nicole Kidman, who is going to be in Happy Feet (I just saw the trailer a couple of days ago) with Elijah Wood, who played Frodo in The Lord of the Rings. =)
