Just watched the episode of Flashpoint where Lou dies...

So not ready for next week's episode, either. =(

That was the very first episode of Flashpoint my friend Lis ever armtwisted me into watching. She was about a third of the way into it and was totally exploding with how awesome it was, so she went to all the effort of finding me someplace online streaming it and sending me the link.

...yeah, and then the end hit and I was all WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT AUGH :(

Hi, I am a completely random person, but I was browsing the ourbedrooms comm from the spotlight link, and found your entry, and then couldn't comment because I'm not a member, so I followed you back to your LJ. Um, because I am apparently a creepy internet stalker. Sorry about that.

Ahem.

"Okay, I admit, I was totally judging you for the Sweet Valley High thing, but then the fair part of my brain pointed out that I snap up every LJ Smith compilation the second it comes out and I should STFU. :P

So what is the opening for SVH #1? I don't remember it at all. (Yeah, I read them, I just kept Trixie Belden instead.)"

Haha, yeah, that's pretty intense for a first episode... I've only been able to watch it twice, it's so sad. =(

And no worries about being a creepy internet stalker! It happens to the best of us. ;)

The opening of Sweet Valley High #1, in all of its glory, goes roughly like this:

"Oh, Lizzie, do you believe how absolutely horrendous I look today?" Jessica Wakefield groaned as she stepped in front of her sister, Elizabeth, and stared at herself in the bedroom mirror. "I'm so gross! Just look at me. Everything is totally wrong. To begin with, I'm disgustingly fat..." With that, she spun around to show off a stunning figure without an extra ounce visible anywhere.

Very quality writing, obviously. =P

*laughing* One of these is not like the others indeed. Thank you for this!
