So, I like rearranging my room. A lot. I also like redecorating. XD I've changed things up since the last time I posted, so I thought I'd share again!
Um... and apparently I like taking pictures of my room, too, cause there are a lot. Sorry, dial-up users. =/
What you see when you walk in!
Part of my closet and the bookshelf... And yeah, I'm kind of a Vera Bradley fan. =D
Inside of my closet! Stuffed animals at the top, color-coded (and then sleeve length-coded, because I have that much time on my hands) clothes everywhere else.
The top half of my purse collection. I stuffed the purses with newspaper so they'd have that store-display look. =)
Did I mention that I'm a Vera Bradley fan?

Back to my bookshelf! It's basically just a bunch of IKEA Billys smushed together.
Why yes, those are all of the Sweet Valley High books. Come at me, bitches!
The requisite Chuck Palahniuk books, lol. Also the entire James Bond series and a ton of Philippa Gregory books.
So... in addition to owning all the Sweet Valley High books, I kind of have all of the Sweet Valley Senior Year and Sweet Valley University books, too... Is it a bad thing that I'm also an English major?

Moving on from the books...
I randomly decided to put all of my makeup/lotions here the other day, mostly because I felt like I needed to put something under Tweety Bird.
The reading corner! The Tweety pictures are from two of my awesome friends. =)
My desk! With Paul Walker as my desktop background, naturally. NO REGRETS.

What I see when I'm sitting at my desk! Also, there's a shark.
Computer hard drive and printer. What's really important, though, is that the penguin on the right is the most adorable penguin to exist on the face of this planet. His name is Penguin.
My bed! Unfortunately, I can't get my teddy bear to stop doing the Hitler salute. =/ Maybe he's mad because my dad named him Teddy Number Five, and I never changed it?
I made this today while listening to an epic playlist of 90's and early 2000's music. (It's Britney, bitch.) Very pleased with how it turned out! Take note of HBIC Kono from Hawaii Five-0.
I couldn't decide which picture I liked better, so you get two. The quotes in the frames above my bed are: the opening of Pride & Prejudice, the opening of Sweet Valley High #1: Double Love, and the "loved vs. feared" passage from The Prince. (True story: When one of my friends remarked "One of these things is not like the other," I replied, "Yeah, Machiavelli's a male writer." God, I'm such an awful English major.)
The paintings above my TV stand! I got them, along with the other painting beneath Tweety Bird, when I went to Greece in my senior year of high school. =) The wind chimes I got from the Morocco area in Epcot, lol.
Woo, TV! It doesn't have cable yet, though. Does anyone know anything about Slingbox? The electrician suggested it as a less expensive alternative to wiring my room for cable.
A close-up of my DVDs, although the sun's a bit too bright. =/ (Fun fact: I got all four Fast & Furious movies, along with 300, from Amazon for twenty bucks. Sixteen of those bucks were for shipping and handling. Best purchase I've ever made, tbh.)
I actually use the CD player, too.
Minor gaming equipment. See those Flashpoint DVDs on the left? Yeah? If you aren't already watching that show, you need to. Yesterday.

My bathroom! The pictures above the toilet came from a Greece calendar. The hangings on the other wall are cheap, tourist-y, dime-a-dozen things from Greece. =)
Another painting. Yes, I actually managed to fit all five of these things in my suitcase on the way home.

A paper Toad I made (seriously, why does that dude not have his own video game?), some bedtime reading (trying to brush up on my Spanish), and THE BESTEST, PINKEST BACKPACK EVER. RESPECT THAT MOTHERFUCKER.

I do love Vera Bradley, haha. Some of their patterns are a bit, well, ugly, but others are very nice. I've found that you really have to coordinate your outfits with their purses (otherwise they don't look as good), but overall the bags are very roomy and cute!
Chuck Palahniuk is an... interesting author, to say the least. Have you heard of Fight Club? He's the guy who wrote the book the movie was based off of. He's definitely a good writer, but his stories start off weird and only get weirder towards the end. He's not for everyone, but if you're interested in reading him I'd recommend Fight Club to start! =)
It's too bad about the peacocks... I could totally ignore science, though, right? =P

Your room looks AMAZING! I love how even though you have a lot of items, everything is very organized and not too cluttery. It also looks very modern, classy, and mature - even though it still contains some youthful items. :)

I used to have a large book collection too, but I don't have room for a large bookshelf like that. I also realized that I didn't re-read about half of them and most were teen books, so it was probably best to sell them to a used bookstore. But part of me wishes that I could have kept them for sentimental reasons.

Yeah, that's the problem with books - they take up a ton of space! I have no idea what I'm going to do when I run out of space on the bookshelves I currently have, because I'm lucky I was able to fit them in. They're also a bitch to move around. =(

All of my bookshelves are from IKEA! They're part of the "Billy" set, so basically I just mixed and matched a couple of different shelves from the set.
