So, now that I've actually seen all the seasons of Power Rangers, I figured I'd give the 30 Days meme another go.

2-Favorite season
Ooh, man, this one's tough. Hang on while I decide between In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Operation Overdrive.

...All right, so, I'm going to have to go with Time Force.



Time Force is Power Rangers done right: enough campy shit for the little kids, but in between it's actually good. Amazing cast chemistry, excellent acting, ridiculous sexual tension, brooding sixth Ranger, mother of all daddy issues, AND a female team leader. Wes and Jen are my favorite PR couple after Tommy and Kimberly, which is a pretty big fucking deal if you know how much I stan Tommy and Kimberly. Plus, Eric is a million kinds of yum. Trip and Katie are adorable, and Lucas is one fine motherfucker. Then you have Ransik, who's a kickass villain (if not a kickass actor). Plus, they did the Wild Force team up. Enough said.

Runner up: In Space.



There are a lot of great things about this season. I'm convinced that Power Rangers writers need to always think that each season is going to be their last, because man does the show get good when it's on the brink of cancellation. First of all, best fucking theme song ever. Andros's introduction was awesome, and his romance with Ashley = adorable. (Third on my list of favorite PR couples, yo.) The Psycho Ranger arc? Easily among the best episodes ever produced by Power Rangers. Also, TJ's hot. Then there's Countdown to Destruction and Zordon finally getting killed, so woooo!!! for that.

Lol at this even being a question. Bitch please, it's all about the originals.

Seriously, though, THIS is the team I think of when I think Power Rangers. This, right here, is perfection. Always and forever. ♥

Love your choices. I agree nothing can touch the chemistry the originals had. Plus Wes and Jen are my 2nd favorite PR couple to!

Timeforce and Inspace just had crisp stories and I adored the cast.

The weird thing about the originals, for me, is that even though I didn't start watching Power Rangers until Lost Galaxy, the Mighty Morphin Rangers were the ones I knew the most about/read lots of fanfiction about. I hadn't even seen any MMPR episodes! So, clearly something weird was going on there, but either way the originals have always been my faves. ♥

Time Force and In Space are why I'm really hoping that Samurai is good, because Saban has proved that it can do good, non-cheesy seasons! (Despite, you know, all the Samurai trailers doing their best to make the show look terrible.)
