Long-ass Harry Potter meme I stole from
tunaeverynight...
All time favorite character?
It's a tie between Hermione Granger (I've always admired how smart and clever she is) and Sirius Black (to borrow British terms, I think I've come to fancy him from all the descriptions of how elegant, handsome, and sarcastically witty he was...).
List the books in order from your favorite to your least favorite.
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Deathly Hallows
3. Order of the Phoenix
4. Half-Blood Prince
5. Goblet of Fire
6. Sorcerer's Stone
7. Chamber of Secrets
Honestly, I don't even think this order is right... to be honest, I love all of the books. Chamber of Secrets is definitely my least favorite, but ranking the other six was really, really hard.
List the movies in order from your favorite to your least favorite.
1. Goblet of Fire
2. Half-Blood Prince
3. Order of the Phoenix
4. Sorcerer's Stone
5. Prisoner of Azkaban
6. Chamber of Secrets
Favorite chapter from your favorite book?
Hm... I'd say my favorite chapter from Prisoner of Azkaban would be the one where Harry and Hermione go back in time to save Sirius and Buckbeak, and you see how everything looks from their perspective. (Including the bit when you realize the 'two pairs of feet' scurrying across the entrance hall were Harry and Hermione's all along!)
Top 10 favorite characters?
I'm going to list them for both the books and the movies, because there are some people I love from the movies but not from the books and vice versa.

Movies
1. Peter Pettigrew
2. Sirius Black

5. Flashback!James Potter
Note how four of the five under Movies were Marauders? Yeah... great job on them, Warner Bros.
Favorite member of the Golden Trio?
Hermione, definitely! Not only is she incredibly book-smart and knows all those amazing spells that they probably don't teach in class, but she's also really clever in other ways (for example, thinking out a perfect cover story for hiding her parents, having the presence of mind to pack for Harry and Ron in the seventh book before Bill and Fleur's wedding got gate-crashed by Death Eaters, etc.).
Favorite family?
Would anyone not put the Weasleys for this? Although, actually, I'm quite partial to the Malfoys.
Favorite antagonist?
Draco Malfoy, duh. He's quite verbose. (Although Bellatrix Lestrange in the movies would win, hands down.)
Favorite Death Eater?
Severus Snape, because I can only imagine how clever you'd have to be in order to fool Voldemort, and Regulus Black. Bellatrix Lestrange I don't like so much in the books, but in the movies she's definitely kickass.
Three favorite spells?
Expecto Patronum
Confundo
Alohomora
Three favorite potions?
Felix Felicis
Veritaserum
Pepperup Potion
Favorite non-Hogwarts magical building?
The Ministry of Magic.
Favorite Diagon Alley shop?
Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes!
Favorite Hogsmeade Shop?
Honeydukes. I can't tell you how much I've always wanted to try the sweets in there... especially the one that makes you levitate...
Favorite Unforgivable Curse?
The Imperius Curse, definitely. It'd be neat to be able to make people do whatever you want (especially since it would probably get you out of some tight corners)--in a harmless way, of course. =)
Favorite mode of wizard transportation?
Despite the danger, Apparition.
Favorite Weasley?
Fred and George can count as one person, right? =P
Favorite Order Member?
Sirius and Lupin. ♥
Favorite DA Member?
Excluding Harry, Ron, and Hermione, I'd go with Neville Longbottom.
Favorite pet?
Hedwig. =(
Favorite Hogwarts room?
I really liked the description of the Ravenclaw common room... but then again, the Room of Requirement--seeing as it could be whatever I wanted it to be--sounds pretty nifty.
Favorite Hogwarts Professor?
McGonagall. I love her "supreme indifference" to everything.
Favorite non-human Hogwarts resident?
Peeves and Kreacher (at the very end, when he summoned the House Elves to fight against Voldemort).
Favorite Tri-Wizard Champion?
Cedric Diggory.
Favorite House Elf?
Kreacher. I love how he loves Regulus, and then how he totally turns around once Harry, Ron, and Hermione are nice to him. =)
Favorite Wizard sweet?
Hm... I'd say Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.
Favorite canon couple?
Regulus/Kreacher Dumbledore/Grindelwald Snape/Lily. (Does that count, even if Snape was the only one in love?)
Favorite non-canon couple?
Draco/Hermione.
General Opinions
Biggest surprise of the series?
The fact that Neville Longbottom a) disposed of Nagini, and b) didn't dispose of Bellatrix.
Biggest letdown of the series?
The fact that we never found out what happened to the Dursleys, and that Scrimgeour didn't really do much. I also didn't like the fact that it turned out there was never a big reason for why James came out of Voldemort's wand first--it was just an error. I mean, come on, siriusly?
One character you wish lived?
Fred and Snape. =(
Moment that will always make you cry?
When Kreacher leads the House Elves out to fight the Death Eaters, and he's shouting about how he's going to get vengeance for Regulus's death. :'(
Your Patronus would be___?
Either a dolphin or a cat... although I'm inclined to think dolphin.
Three things Amortentia would smell like to you.
New books, the ocean, whatever shower stuff my ex-boyfriend used. (It smelled really good...)
You would use Felix Felicis to___?
Have an amazing birthday.
Job you would most like to try?
It'd be really fun to work at the Ministry of Magic, I think... I don't know what department, though.
Ron/Hermione or Harry/Hermione?
Hermione/Ron, duh. Their relationship is really poorly done in the movies, but I love how in the books they're always bickering--and yet, Ron's always gotten really pissed off whenever someone's insulted Hermione, and that's adorable.
James/Lily or Snape/Lily?
I love the Snape/Lily story so much more; but since I'm sure James had better moments than what we saw in Order of the Phoenix, I'm also sure Lily ended up with the right person.
Do you know which page Dumbledore was killed on?
I know it's in the six hundreds... I heard 606? Or something like that?
Do you think Harry Potter is better than Twilight?
This question is a complete and total joke, and anyone who thinks Twilight is even remotely worthy of being compared to Harry Potter is a complete and total idiot.
Are you going to go see the Half Blood Prince in theatres?
Already have.
Do you own the books/movies?
Own all the books, but I only have the second and third movies.
Have you ever played any of the video games?
I used to have a Sorcerer's Stone game for the computer, and I always loved tossing gnomes on the Chamber of Secrets PS2 game... but I don't know what happened to the computer game, and we got rid of our PlayStation. =(
Don't they kind of suck?
I've found them amusing.
Do you think it would be cool to have a pet owl?
If it could do the things that owls in the wizarding world can do, then hell yes!
How about a rat?
Um, no.
Have you ever listened to the soundtrack?
I've listened to all the soundtracks. My favorite by far is Prisoner of Azkaban, although Goblet of Fire is quite enjoyable. =)
Which house would you want to be in?
Either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.
Do you like Draco?
I do! To borrow a phrase from Dumbledore, I love how 'enchantingly nasty' he is. And this fic (an amazing drabble by
persephone_blue) pretty much sealed my love of him.
Would you ever enter the Triwizard Tournament?
No. I'd much rather have a seat in the bleachers.
Would you keep your money in Gringotts?
Of course! Where else?
What class would be your favorite?
Charms or Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Do you think you would enjoy being a witch/wizard?
...Is this a trick question? =P
