FORMAT: CD
ARTIST: Plumb
TITLE: Beautiful Lumps of Coal
01. The instruments at the beginning of "Free" were nice, though I was a bit surprised when this heavy rock music started blasting. Once getting over that, the rest of the song was good.
02. Plumb really sounds like Amy Jo Johnson on "Hold Me." The resemblance is uncanny. (This is good for me, because I love Amy Jo Johnson! Original Pink Power Ranger, if any of you were wondering/cared.)
03. I love the strings in "Nice, Naive, and Beautiful." Unfortunately, the song was kind of ruined by a random, digitized child singing towards the end. *still doesn't understand why people think its cool to do that*
04. Again, what is the point of songs like "Love 'Em and Kiss 'Em," which are less than thirty seconds long and consist of completely inaudible, muted babbling in the background? I fail to see how this can be considered artistic expression.
05. Overall, with the exception of "Love 'Em and Kiss 'Em," this album was well-produced, well-written, and well-sung. It sounds almost exactly like Candycoatedwaterdrops, which I guess isn't a bad thing... Not exactly a huge variety, but oh well!
