FORMAT: CD
ARTIST: Thievery Corporation
TITLE: The Cosmic Game

01. This does have a "cosmic," outer space feel to it... I don't really know how to describe it.

02. This album seems like it's going all over the place, back and forth between guys and girls, Spanish and English, different instruments, everything. I kind of wish it would just pick one motif and stay that way.

03. The instruments on "The Supreme Illusion" are excellent, except they'd be more fitting in a sultan's harem than on an album entitled "The Cosmic Game."

04. I pretty much blinked and this album was gone. It all blends together, with "The Supreme Illusion" as its only distinguishable track. Much like Beanfield's Human Patterns, this is basically background music, stuff you don't need or particularly want to listen to closely.

I know this was a short review, but I'm in the middle of creating a new layout for [livejournal.com profile] hiril_alatariel.
