Just a little rambling... don't mind me.

1. It's been raining for what feels like weeks. (More like two.) It just won't stop. Am considering killing the weatherman.

2. I want to do gymnastics.

3. I just saw Courage Under Fire today, with Meg Ryan, Denzel Washington, Matt Damon, and *gasp* Sean Astin. It's about the investigation of a captain who died on a mission in the Gulf War with her crew, and what really happened on that night. Very good movie. Depressing, though, because you have to watch her die, like, three times (her soldiers keep giving different accounts).

4. I studied for my history quiz today. Why aren't I doing better in this class?! I didn't actually even study--I read my notes while listening to Alanis Morissette. So why can't I work up the motivation to study anymore? What the fuck is wrong with me? All I want to do is write in my story.

5. On the note of schoolwork, I worked on my math and science projects as much as I could this weekened. For math, I e-mailed my teacher about what I need to do for the last portion of the project, and she still hasn't gotten back to me. For science, I'd rather die than e-mail my teacher, and I have to look at another project example plus visit the site before I can do anything.

6. Made my card for my mom today. It's from the TV commercial where it's a pot with a flower in it that you can make grow, and it says "My love for you grows each day." Corny? Yes. Something I'd say to my mother? Absolutely not. So I told her that I stole got the idea from a commercial, cause, hey, honesty's the best policy. [livejournal.com profile] cactus_wren and any other mothers out there (I can't think of any more I know off of the top of my head, but yeah), I hope you had a happy Mother's Day.

7. Did I mention that I wanted to do gymnastics?

:( That's too bad.

o.O LiveJournal didn't e-mail me your comment...

Thank you! I did have a good day. Except for the part where we had to go to my mom's, where everyone is loud and slightly whiny, lol. But the girls made me breakfast in bed, gave me a packet of chores and whatnot they will do whenever I turn in the cards, and then gave me my other gifts, a George Foreman grill - which I really wanted - and a really nice bench/storage type thing for out on the deck that I wanted too! They all do so well when I spell out exactly what it is I want, rather than them guessing.

=D That's awesome! Hehe, yes, people do tend to give better gifts when you tell them what you want...
