Well, I've made a decision. Instead of using all my birthday/Christmas money to get an iPod, I'm going to buy a ridiculous amount of CDs.
For one thing, unless my Dell Jukebox crashes, I really don't need another mp3 player. The Dell works just fine--the only inconvenient things about it are that it doesn't allow multiple songs with the same title (which I can get around), and that I can't automatically send all my music files to it.
For another, my parents would be like, "Why would you want an iPod when you have the Dell, blah blah blah take some Advil," and I really don't want to have to deal with that. After all, it's vacation.
Finally, music = ♥, no matter what I play it on.
But with that in mind...

happy_pirate247 knows, my CD wishlist is disgustingly huge. I'm thinking that with all the money I'm getting, plus the $72 I have saved up already, I'll be able to get ten CDs.
Assuming that I'm getting what I put on my Christmas/birthday wishlist (Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 - Shakira; The Long Road - Nickelback; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire soundtrack; The Interpreter soundtrack; The Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack), here are the following CDs I want with the burning passion of 1000 suns:
- ******FOTR: The Complete Recordings (four-disc set)******
- Music Inspired By the Chronicles of Narnia (there are two CoN soundtracks, so I'm not really sure which one my parents would get me)
- House of Flying Daggers soundtrack
- Donde Estan los Ladrones (Shakira)
- Mr. & Mrs. Smith [OST]
- All the Right Reasons (Nickelback)
- Alexander soundtrack
- Wreck of the Day (Anna Nalick)
- Josh Groban (Josh Groban)
- Closer (Josh Groban)
- Josh Groban In Concert (Josh Groban)
- Live at the Greek (Josh Groban)
- Shakira MTV Unplugged (Shakira)
- The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film: Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Monty Python)
- Jagged Little Pill (Alanis Morissette)
- Veronica Mars, Season One soundtrack
- Mists of Avalon soundtrack
- Music of the Sun (Rihanna)
- The Last Samurai soundtrack
- The Parent Trap [OST]
OST = Original SoundTrack (basically, a compilation of songs from different artists, as opposed to an instrumental score)
But, as you can see, that's more than ten.
So please, help me by filling out a poll (my first ever!) and letting me know what you think! =DDD Just pick five of your favorite, then write a little about why you like them.
