A couple of days ago, I had a dream that my mom wouldn't let me go to the Harry Potter midnight party for the seventh book. I was in the house at 11:45, and she was yelling at me, "You have to vacuum all the rugs before you go!" and I tried to explain to her that I couldn't vacuum all of the rugs and still have enough time to go to Barnes & Noble, but she refused to let me go and I missed everything!
I really hope that's not a harbinger of what's to come on July 20th...

anyway, i have some stuff i've been meaning to tell you about the midnight party.
my mom and i are going to get out wristband/ticket things in the morning after my practice, so i'll try real hard to make sure we get a good spot on line for midnight (we're going to the same place as last time, so it should be the same kind of stuff, but probably better seeing as this is the last book), but with the time my practice ends i and the time they let you start getting wristbands, we most likely won't be first in line =[ in case i haven't told you already, the book costs $21. don't forget a flashlight for the car ride home! and be sure to bring your camera so we can take pictures with the people in elaborate costumes!!
since you're coming around six o'clock i hear, i'm also wondering if you have any special dinner requests, haha. i've been looking around to see if i can find any recipes that involve harry potter, but nothing looks appetizing quite yet. maybe i'll just frost a cake and put a lightning bolt on it or something...
two more days, see you soon!

Psh, I eat chocolate for breakfast.
In all seriousness, I'm cool with whatever, as long as it's not hamburgers/hot dogs/steak. =) Which I'm sure won't be on the menu anyway, so yeah.
The money for the book is all set (thanks for reserving it! =D), and you should remind me again to bring a flashlight for the car ride back, because I know I'm going to forget. But I definitely will bring a camera! After all, what better place to stalk people than a bookstore with Harry Potter characters running around?
What time are we going to be leaving for the bookstore, again?

P.S. Don't go reading The New York Times, either - I heard they reviewed the book in today's paper and spoiled what the meaning of Deathly Hallows is, as well as how many characters die. =O
