So... in March (yes, that long ago), some people from my class and I went to Washington, D.C.. I've finally developed the pictures, and since they're not incriminating I'm not locking them. =D

ASSORTED BUILDINGS AND MEMORIALS

FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT MEMORIAL
I totally did not know his middle name was Delano before we went to this memorial. That was probably the single most "wow, I'm so stupid" moment of the entire trip. Anyway, like the WWII memorial, this one didn't have the water fountains on, but it was still nice to walk around.

WORLD WAR TWO MEMORIAL
I don't know why so many people have a problem with this memorial. I think it's absolutely beautiful. It was, in my opinion, the best monument in the entire city. Unfortunately, when we went the fountains weren't on, and the tourguides only gave us ten minutes to look around, but if I ever (by some weird chance) end up living in Washington, D.C., I will regularly take trips to this place just to sit there. It's breathtaking.

As you can tell, I liked the World War II memorial. ;)
