anolinde | Time for Time Force!

Just finished watching Time Force! I'm kind of sad that I finished it so soon, because I love that season to death and the cast is so fun to watch. Also, Eric and Wes have really, really nice arms.

Loved, loved, loved the episode where Nadira and Lucas went on a date. Ransik's reaction was hilarious.

The Lightspeed teamup was awesome, but I was so pissed when all the guys stood together with their battle armor at the end and got rid of the monster. Give the girls some battle armor, too, damnit! It brought back memories of how pissed I was when Ms. Fairweather decided to give someone other than Carter nifty armor, and then promptly gave it to Chad and Joel and ignored Dana and Kelsey. Ugh. On another note, the teamup should definitely have been given more than one episode. It was way too rushed. And how the hell did Vypra come back when she had been absorbed by Queen Bansheera? Loved the appearance of the Vyprari, though. =D

Finally, Wes and Jen... after Tommy and Kimberly, definitely my favorite Power Rangers couple. Their relationship actually got development! And they led the team together! And they rescued each other (even if it was 60% Wes rescuing Jen and only 40% Jen rescuing Wes)!

Fun fact: When I watched this as it was airing, back when I was in elementary school, I never figured out that Wes and Alex were played by the same actor.

Blah, now to suffer my way through Wild Force... Taylor, I'm counting on you to not make this miserable for me. (And omgsqueeTimeForceteamup!!!)

I love Wes! He was not only adorable he was a great red ranger. In my book he comes 2nd after Jason as best red rangers. They did a great job with Wes and Jen, he was supportive but never clingy. It was kind of fun watching them have to work towards a relationship instead of it just being there. Eric was an interesting ranger, he was one of the first that didn't want to be part of the happy family. What I liked is he grew to like them but he never lost his Ericness LOL. Trip, Lucas and Katie weren't focused on alot but they were great rangers by themselves.

I loved Eric's story arc. Circuit's comment about him just being lonely was so spot on - and it was great to see him eventually start to help the others. (Although, I felt bad during the finale when Mr. Collins asked Wes to be the new leader of the Silver Guardians, literally right in front of him.)

Trip, Lucas, and Katie could have used some more episodes - especially Katie - but, over all, I loved the team dynamics. They were so fun to watch! I loved all the little scenes where they were teasing each other; you could tell that the actors were enjoying it just as much as their characters were. =)

Yeah, that was kind of a burn after all the work Eric did. But I kind of understand him being compelled to favoritism toward his own son.

Team dynamics...seconded so very hard. And having seen a few of them at PMC, yeah, they are totally like that in real life, still, even a decade later.

I saw the Timeforce panel on Youtube. Jason Faunt got even better looking and the cast was so funny! They seemed to get along really well.

Did you catch the bit where Dan Southworth was kissing everybody? It was like every shipper's dream come true. XDD And Vernon Wells, man. He is just a class act. Kissed my hand after signing an autograph for me! Not gonna lie, I kinda had a fangasm over that one.

I couldn't stop laughing when Dan ran and kissed Jason and then lucky Erin got a kiss on the mouth. I think Dan did a great thing since you could tell Jason was uncomfortable with the situation.

I wish Dan had been able to stay for more of the con. His shenanigans are hilarious.

I totally second the idea of more LR/TF teamup, and of more Pinks rescuing Reds! Also, god, you make me feel old. I was in high school when Time Force aired. ^^a ~~I also didn't watch it when it originally aired. Details...~~

Wild Force...was not half as bad as I thought it would be. Taylor's awesome, of course, but so are the two goobers in my icon. And Alyssa. Basically everyone BUT Cole. Just plug your ears when they start singing to the Deer Zord and you'll get through it just fine!

Good point about Wild Force... Now that you mention that, most of the fail was probably on Cole's end. I do remember thinking Alyssa was adorable and awesome. =)

And... singing to the Deer Zord? Oh dear. I had forgotten about that.

It is the worst song EVER. Even the other Rangers get sick of hearing it! Shayla and Merrick just. Need to learn another song. Like, now.

...Augh, it's stuck in my head now just from thinking about it.

UGH, that SONG. *cries* I thought everyone was joking when they were talking about it, but NO. UGH.

(And seconding the Wild Force thing - just ignore Cole. Everyone else is pretty awesome. The season just suffers from having to follow Time Force.)

I actually think it's kinda catchy... but gosh the dialogue straight after just cracks me up every time :D

Jen and Wes are just amazing and I just love them together. I especially love how Jen seemed to be more reckless and headstrong than Wes :D AND Jen manages to soften up... THE BALANCE IS AWESOME when Wes is added into the mix!

And lol, I would have totally thought that too if I got to watch TF in primary school! (I was probably watching something like Bananas in Pajamas... haha)

Wes and Jen were pretty much amazing. ♥ And it's so true - Jen definitely had a headstrong streak that even Wes couldn't match! I loved how they spent the last half of the season trying to tell each other their feelings, but they'd always chicken out at the last minute. =P

I pretty much love this season. I really want Jen/Wes/Eric/Taylor to live happily forever. And Lucas/Nadira! And Katie/Trip! And frankly, I just love this SEASON. *ADORES*

I really want fic where Jen, Wes, Eric, and Taylor all live in an apartment together. <3

NGL, I would read a million words of that.
